GCSE Maths Lecturer

We are seeking an enthusiastic GCSE Maths Lecturer to join a supportive Further Education team in Hitchin. You will deliver engaging GCSE and Functional Skills Maths sessions to learners aged 16–18, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver high‑quality GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths lessons

• Plan, assess and adapt teaching to meet diverse learner needs

• Create an inclusive, motivating classroom environment

• Track progress and provide constructive feedback

What We’re Looking For

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths

• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

• Experience teaching in FE or delivering GCSE/FS Maths

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
